I would like to post this review on behalf of americas moving services. I reserved my move through them early august under the assumption we would be moving obviously. we were scheduled to be picked up on September 9th or 10th being picked up in Illinois and being delivered to Texas. Unfortunately our home sale fell through and we found out yesterday and upon reading our contract we read that any refunds due to cancellation must be within 7 days prior to the move. We freaked out knowing we may lose our deposit. I called and spoke with Eric yesterday and explained our situation to him and he was extremely nice and assured us that he would credit our card the full deposit amount even though a truck was scheduled to pick us up in 2 days. I checked our account and called the bank and was informed that yes in fact the credit had been processed to our account. I know that finding an honest company is hard to do but I would like to thank americas moving services and especially Eric Snyder for being so understanding and honest and actually caring for a customer and being compassionate. When we finally do sell our house (hopefully we will be able to) we will surely be reserving with americas moving services and will refer others to them even though they have not moved us yet I will just based on their honesty.
