I was still in denial thinking I could be moved for some of these ridiculous prices that some of the moving companies quoted me. I reserved my moving truck with getamovingcompany.com for literally 1/3 of the price of most of the other quotes and 1/2 the price of the others. I was told NOT to use this company due to the low estimate and against all I believe I used them and they took a $500.00 deposit against my $2,000 quote. Moving day came and went and still never heard from the "movers" and frustrated I called them so many times for an answer to no avail. I like alot of these horror stories was frantic to be moved as new homeowners were moving in and I HAD to be out. My original move date was for March 5th and it was now the 8th and the new homeowners were set to move in on the 10th which meant I needed to be out like yesterday. I found yourmovingday on this website during my frantic search and their agent contacted me immediately and set me up for the next day pick-up. The only thing that really sucks is that when their salesman went over my inventory list not only was the weight MUCH higher, the price was too. I paid and am happy to have this move behind me and happy that I finally found someone that could and did accomodate my needs and actually treat me like a customer and answer all my questions and calls when I needed them.
