I am rating an A- not an A+ due to the fact that the communication on our pick-up dates were not correct. We were supposed to be picked up and out of our existing dwelling on Wednesday March the 11th in the early AM and the driver had called me on Tuesday March the 10th and told us to expect him and his crew on Thursday March the 12th in the morning. That was not what was discussed and when I contacted americas moving services and spoke with the owner of the company Howard he explained to me that there was a TWO day pick-up window and it just so happens that we would be picked up in the second day which to me was never told by my original sales rep Eric but it did say that in the contract. With that aside, when David and his crew showed up on Thursday in the morning there were 4 men including David and they began to pack up our goods everything from the dishes and glasses to our televisions which took roughly 8 hours just to pack without them stopping. They were very nice gentleman and we had bought them pizzas which they were thankful for and they continued to work until the early evening and told us at around 7pm that they had to rest for the night and finish in the morning. They had been working since 8am packing and wrapping and loading as much as they could. Next morning they began again at 7am and finished by 2pm and were on their way to Washington and told me that they would be there within 7 days give or take a day as they had another pick-up and 2 drop offs along the route. My wife and I proceeded to drive out to Washington and made it out there 5 days later and the crew showed up 3 days after us and to our surprise it was the same crew minus one man and they started unloading which actually took way less time because they did not have to unpack anything and placed everything were we wanted it and after all is said and done I can overlook the miscommunication with the dates because these guys were excellent in every way possible. We tipped the men $150.00 a piece and they were thrilled and so were we. Our grandchild is moving from Pennsylvania in June and america's moving services has gained her business as well. Great job to everyone involved in our move.
