When my husband recieved an offer from a hospital in Arizona we searched for moving companies to relocate our family from Buffalo, New York to Phoenix, Arizona with fairly short notice. The hospital alloted $15,000 in moving expenses and anything else would require us coming out of pocket. We initially hired Robert Atkins a North American Van Lines agent out of New York after he completed a visual estimate at our residence and quoted us a full service not to exceed price of $14,750.00 all inclusive, however, about 3 days prior to the move Daniel the original estimator called me up and said "we made a mistake with your estimate and unfortunately the new price is hovering around the $19,000 range so I apologize but I made the mistake". After hearing that regardless of how professional and polite he was, we were shocked and decided on another company we considered early on in our planning stages America's Moving and their quote was initially $10,000 not including packing and with packing it was just under $12,000 which was far more reasonable. We hired them 2 days before the move and right now we are very thankful that we did, not only was their price thousands less, but their service was probably just as good if not better than any of the bigger companies. Our driver, Mark arrived with 3 people and first we filled out enough paperwork to fill a small book and once that was completed 2 of the crew members began packing and wrapping everything, while the remaining 2 men started loading the truck and the whole time I think the took 2 breaks and only took like a half hour lunch break and continued until everything was completely packed, wrapped, and loaded. Our move in date/delivery date was for September 18th and they said they could make it on that date and they did!!! The services were superior, they accomodated our move in date, packed everything perfectly, didn't overcharge us and they were just perfect. We would definately recommend this company.
