Really GOOD local moving service in Washington DC

To keep things short, we were moving from Dupont Circle to Bethesda. Union of DC Movers had great yelp reviews and quoted me the lowest price of all the movers I queried (6 places), so I went with them. I should mention we were moving out of a building with a crazy live-in landlord. The day of the move we got Bob and Jose, who were totally professional, quick and quiet with the load up. We didn't get yelled at once - which, considering our crazy live-in landlord was really a feat. I can't possibly recommend these guys enough. They unloaded all of our stuff quickly, in brutal heat, and up 3 flights of stairs without one complaint. In so many ways they were a lifesaver - and, to quote my fiancée and her girlfriend, "Is it wrong that I'm sort of attracted to these guys?" "I was thinking the same thing - it's like Dave got cute hipster movers..." - so that's got to count for something! Harry River, happy customer of http://www.unionofdcmovers.com
