This is by far the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Even though they had guaranteed the delivery date range in writing, they were two weeks (!) late with delivering our belongings. They took our stuff to their storage facility without our knowledge or consent. Despite of their repeated reassurance that they wouldn’t subcontract our move to another company, they did so twice, to 2 different companies. As a result of our personal belongings getting loaded on and off all of these trucks (to get transported to the movers’ storage facilities, and from one company’s trucks to another, to another), the furniture was delivery damaged. On top of everything else, Ori Van Lines lied to us about additional weight and incorrectly and fraudulently charged us for 70 lbs of phony weight, evidenced by the weight certificates that I’ve obtained from the driver.
Ori Van Lines’ customer service is absolutely horrendous. I’ve never before encountered such blatant disrespect and despicable incompetence. Aside from the fact that the company representatives had made numerous promises in regard to our move that they couldn’t keep, their customer service department (Lindsay and Jamie) blatantly LIED to us for two weeks, saying our goods were in transit, and will get delivered soon. I am not sure if they knew that our possessions were sitting in their partner’s storage or whether they honestly thought that our shipment was on its way, but the dispatcher’s inability to locate the customer’s belongings for 2 weeks is purely unacceptable. They would consistently ignore and/or not return our phone calls and did absolutely nothing to improve or resolve this horrific mess of a move. Eventually, they told us to go ahead and do a chargeback, but to leave them alone and stop calling.
I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.
