Long story short, our scheduled movers did not arrive on the moving day and we were left stranded with 2 bedrooms worth of furniture. We were supposed to vacate the place by 2pm, and with no rental truck to be found anywhere due to end of month mayhem we started calling other local companies. I was surprised as to how rude some of the companies were and offered last minute service at outrageous rates. After calling a few places I stumbled across Virginia Beach Movers who are located within close distance of my old apartment at Ocean View. The crew showed up within an hour of placing my order and provided me with a very competitve rate. The 3 man crew moved everything within our remaining elevator time and we managed to clean up the place before new owners arrived. While the overall experience of my move could have been better, Virginia Beach Movers did what they could to ensure moving day ends on a positive note.
