What can be said against a moving company when the biggest obstacle I had with them was trying to figure out where to stand while they packed up my apartment so I'd be out of their way???
White Glove did an AWESOME job moving me and my girlfriend from our separate previous apartments into our new home. In particular, Terry - the foreman - I mean, WOW. I would trust this man with moving a 113 year old great grandmother from hospital to hospital.
We shopped around, and what we initially appreciated most was the Binding Estimate The rates were a little more than some of the competitors(the reason for the 4star) but we had an IMMEDIATE trust and comfort with them - and isn't that what you want most from people you're trusting everything you own with?
Case in point: some of my personal stuff was being shipped back to my mother. I hired someone else to take care of this. I spoke with the him at 9:45 in the morning, and he told me he'd be at my place at 11am. At 11:45 *I* called *HIM* to ask his whereabouts. "I should be there in another hour or so, I'm on the way," was his response. "Don't bother," I told him, and then called White Glove about how much more they would charge for the additional work. Inexpensive? No. But when they got to mom's place, they put everything exactly where she asked them to put it: the basement, the living room, the attic, wherever.
They were fast, efficient, courteous, AMAZING. If and when the time comes for me to move again, these are absolutely, positively the guys I will call.
