They will give a initial quote which will be way cheaper than any other better movers. Greedily you will decide to go with these guys lesser realizing that they will bump up the price twice, wont pick up or deliver at right time and definitely not all items will be delivered and some of them will be broken as well. List of items which were broken and not delivered: 1. all 3 floor lamps, light holders were damaged. 2. Vaccum cleaner wheel was broken 3. bluray player is missing and you will have to call several times to know the claim process. not sure when you will get the money back. 4. Umbrella 5. Will lose a days pay waiting for these guys to pick up. will informed they willl come between 9 - 12 AM EST but will only come on 4:00 PM EST. You will talk to some representative named JJ (didnt abbreviate ). Nice and impressive man only until you pay the Initial deposit. Once that is debited from your account, when you call asking about increase in price by 40% on the day of pick up (Only 2 additions to the inventory list which is just floor lamps and dust bins) only answer you will get is talk to New Life transportation company(Transportation company they have tie up with i guess) hanging the phone on you. Then you will have to make several calls to the dispatch team on New Life transportation just to reduce the price by $200 (Paid overall $2400 on initial estimate of $1450) and to hear some rude voices. Then comes the delivery date. They will promise you to deliver on some dates but the driver will call you only after the promised deliver dates to inform you that he will deliver 2 or 3 days from the date he called. On initial delivery dates given to you, you will call several times to new life transportation company to know what is happening but no one will pick your call. I guess they have very good memory of remembering your number.Whenever they pick up and when you will ask for talking to Mary or someone from dispatch they will say she is busy on another call and will ask to call you back. But you will never get a call again. So the driver will finally come on last date which he promises (Apr 30th evening ~5PM PST) and delivers the items. There will be a box which is missing, you will be upset on that but he was raise his voice and say he cant do anything and shows his frustration on you not to forget some sarcastic racist comments if you are foreigner to this country. Once they place some of the items(not all) in your house (forget assembling just a promise they give when they want to book you)finally the good angel in you will still let you to give some good tip both for delivery and pick up guys against the conflict you have because of the treatment as well as service that you get. This moving experience is really a horrible experience taxing me more on emotional aspect that i decided to never to move in this country until i move out of this country or if i move, i will sell all i have and get it in new place. My friend was mockingly saying i would have bought everything new for the money i have lost on moving. Still i have the anger in me to vent out in profanity but i want to hold my horses and say Thank you to everyone who gave this experience and to learn something out of this!
