Working with Interstate Movers was great; they made a stressful cross-country move as easy as possible. Everyone I dealt with during the whole moving process was always completely professional, and extremely helpful. The office staff kept me informed and updated with emails and phone calls during every step of the process, and when I called with questions they were always able to give me thorough answers without any delay. They were also very accommodating to the delivery rules of my new apartment building: since we cannot move in on weekends, the delivery window for my things was extended by a few days.
On the day of my pick-up, the movers arrived almost immediately at the start of my appointment window and did a very thorough job wrapping each piece of furniture. I was given an itemized list of my belongings, each piece was tagged with a specific number. Dropping off my things was just as easy, we checked off each piece on the list as they brought it into my new apartment.
There were only two points I wasn't completely satisfied with – first, the original day for my drop-off had to be rescheduled after their delivery truck broke down, however it took most of the day for them to come to that point, I appreciate that they still wanted to try to bring my things on the original day, but in the end I just spent the day at home waiting while they tried to fix the truck. It might have been better to just reschedule earlier on. Second, there was some slight damage done to a TV stand during shipping – the corner was cracked. However, the staff made it very easy to file a claim for the insurance included in my moving contract, and I received a settlement that will help cover a cost of a new stand.
Overall, I was extremely happy with Interstate's service, and highly recommend them.
