The salesman Ray was really nice, attentive and informative (at first). When I was considering going with this company, he turned really hard sell and once he had my deposit, I could no longer reach him.
The laborers showed up, none spoke English as a first language so they packed things we asked them to leave and things we had intended to take in our personal vehicles (flammables, liquids...) They charged me a fortune in boxes even though I still had unused boxes at the end of the day and some of the stuff they packed was just trash - Why would I need a cardboard box containing an empty, cracked plastic box? or a box full of lids? They forgot our ladder and didn't tag some items (or maybe the tags fell off in transit)
In Florida, the driver called and said he'd arrive the following day between 9 and 10 a.m. Management called about 45 minutes later to say he'd arrive between 7 and 9 a.m. The laborers showed up at 9:42 a.m., but the driver didn't come until 2:30 and then took 30 minutes to park the truck in a space big enough for 3 18 wheelers. He only got 1 hour sleep the night before and should never have been allowed to drive in the first place. He even got into a fight with one of the Russian laborers. The driver and the English speaking laborer both commented on how badly the truck had been packed. I saw the delivery for the last load on the truck and boxes were crushed, the load had spilled out of its allotted space, a box had been opened...
Anyway, while the MD guys insisted everything be in boxes, some items were not boxed, such as bikes, a small planter, a bird cage, and these things were all damaged/broken. And, while all the boxes we packed were marked with the room they needed to be put in, these people couldn't be bothered so we spent hours just trying to get things in their proper rooms after the paid folk left.
Ray gave a great salespitch and I was surprised when I found so few reviews for this company but the ones I did find sounded good. Wish I had looked harder now that it is too late.
