I am extremely disappointed with the estimate versus the actual cost and service while loading. As they showed up at 6:30 in the morning I still needed to pack a few items including bedding. As I went to pack these items I was told, "Don't worry about it I'll get it and felt chased out of my own home while they worked. There were a few items that were told were to go and were left behind. Some of the items were even listed on the original estimate. They did not show up in an 18 wheeler like I was told. Instead they show up in a 26" truck which you flat out told me I would never fit all of my stuff in. Your estimate was so far off. I few days ago I sent you an update removing a few items from the original estimate plus I did not fill all the boxes that I gave you for the estimate so I felt more confident about the fit. I still have 40 boxes left even after they used what they felt necessary. So how is it possible that this estimate is so far off. They told me I was going to owe almost $6,000 more than my estimate and I went into panic mode. I had an exact budget of $10,000 which you knew. My estimate of $8,800+ was ok because that gave me a little room to play. Worst case scenario I would think maybe $2000 more (Not $6000). The movers also left garbage everywhere in my house (empty tape rolls, water bottles, etc.). Also they dropped my refrigerator down about three of my front steps. I hope it is ok. I was told I went over by 650 cu ft which by my calculations is only $3900. Another thing; I was told I pay a deposit of 25% then 50% of balance on pick up and second 50% on delivery. I was originally concerned when I was charged the 25% deposit twice then they tried to tell me I had to pay 70% of the balance on pick up. He tried to charge me the credit card transaction fee on the 70% which I made him correct. I feel extremely lied to and taken advantage of. Now I am interested to see what you have to say about this.
