The contact was made four weeks ahead of the time to move. An estimate was given, the agreement was made, signed and paid in full up front.
I was moving my 88 year old mother to north carolina. The whole month of june was packing, making calls, changing address, canceling doctors appointments,etc etc etc.
Time to move. Truck was to be here saturday morning june 29th. NO TRUCK. contact was made, and they said they were having problems with the truck. GREAT!!
The reply was.. you know we have a two day grace period to pick up. DUH. more calls. Well maybe we can pick up sunday or monday. ok I could have done that. more calls. Well maybe we can pick up the 1st or 2nd week of july. C A N C E L E D.
we wound up renting a truck moving moms stuff to storage and hiring a local mover.
