FILING COMPLAINT WITH BBF-THREATENED TO TAKE MY FURNITURE AND MADE ME PAY BEFORE UNLOADING - ATTEMPTED TO RUN MY DEBIT CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION
a one bedroom apartment with w/d as only appliance, no stairs, 5 mile move took just under 4 hours to complete due to the speed of the crew. they were polite, but were in absolutely no hurry, no sense of urgency, and ran up the clock to double what it should be. I was given an hourly rate of 139.00 with a 2 hour estimate and the final cost was 644.00.....really?
I am filing a complaint with the BBB - the movers demanded the double payment before the truck was unloaded, then threatened to take my furniture to their storage where "it will cost you a lot more". I will make sure no one I know ever uses this company. Plus Frank's behavior was unacceptatble, rude, screaming and unprofessional. An emparassement to your franchise.
