This move was by far the worst and most stressful experience of my life. To start with, I called a day before to ask what time the movers are going to be at my apartment to start loading the truck, and I was told that my reservation has been canceled because I called couple of days earlier and cancelled my reservation, which never happened. Than the movers showed up at 11:30 am instead of promised 9:00 am. They did not have promised free wardrobe carriers and did not know what to do about it. They took almost three hours to load two bedroom apartment and every time I went downstairs to check on them, they were sitting and smoking. We ended up helping them load the truck. The next day, they came on time for unloading, however a lot of things were damaged. We had only THREE BOXES that clearly said FRAGILE on them, but there were several broken items in each of those boxes. Some of the furniture was scratched, there is a huge dent on my coffee table and they broke the wheels that can't be fixed. These things I can understand, anything can happen, anything can get damaged when you move. The thing that upset me the most is that several clothing items were STOLEN. When I opened my suitcase it was clear that someone swarmed in my personal things. TEN BRAND NEW PAIRS OF UNDERWEAR WITH TAGS, TWO HOODIES, TWO PAIRS OF PANS, BIG EXPENSIVE UMBRELLA WERE STOLLEN. Why would two grown men need my underwear???!!!! This are only the items we noticed missing so far. It disgusts me to think that some men touched my undergarments and I don't feel like wearing them anymore! I called the movers and they said that the things might have fell off while unloading the truck and that they would check when they arrive back to their office. Two hours later they called and said that they found only the umbrella. It is still a mystery to me how the things can fall off from the closed suitcase. "Let our family move yours"? I would rather say let our family screw yours!!!! I wish I notice all the missing item before I gave $120 tips to the movers. I read the reviews and it clearly looks like I was not the only person to deal with the same issues.
