These folks damaged my HD motorcycle significantly. Among other things they damaged on the bike, they actually bent the kickstand so severely the bike could not be rested on it. BTW - it takes a tremendous amount of force to bend a kickstand. I specifically paid for additional square footage so they would not pack items on the bike.
They showed up in Las Vegas with a rented Budget truck which the sales person specifically told me they would not do. The truck that arrived in Seattle was a completely different Budget rental truck. I was assured by the sales person that AC that used their own company owned trucks for the transport and would not do multiple transfers. I should have sent them away when they arrived in the Budget truck but at that point the commitment and schedule for moving was underway.
Plain and simple Do not transport expensive items with these folks! They will tell you they can do it and take your money. They cannot. If you don't mind your goods being packed and repacked into different trucks in an unaudited and random fashion Americarrier is your choice. You will also never talk to the same person twice. They go strangely silent when you call with a complaint.
Finally - be careful to watch what you sign for insurance. I was insured for 60 cents a pound. Expensive items are not covered in any fashion with this type of insurance. Also, pack your TV's and expensive items yourself, your life belongings are treated like cubes of different sizes by these folks. No special care is take whatsoever. My 50" flat screen TV that had this end UP all over it was taken off the truck upside down.
