Americas Moving Services will certainly tell you anything to sell themselves as your moving company. The initial move set-up, organization, etc. all went very smoothly and I had no complaints. However, when promised a date of arrival (spanning 3 days) and scheduling my work and family schedules around that turned disastrous. Americas Moving Services went radio silent about delivery, I would call and be told someone will call me back promptly, however NEVER did someone return my calls. I always had to call back to understand where between the East and mid-West my belongings were. Upon arrival there was ONE mover to unload my things compared to the three who packed up my belongings. One box was completely un-taped with two valuable items completely missing from it. I called AMS about the missing items in which no one again would put me through to anyone or help with the situation. It was the most aggravating process with the most incompetent, rude customer service individuals I have ever worked with. I work within sales, and I will NEVER recommend this company or these people to anyone for how I was treated. It's as though once the move is scheduled and items are picked up, they could care less what happens afterwards.
