Good move poor communication

Although our move was successful in the fact that we were picked up without a problem and the movers to their credit were wonderful and verey respectful I must say that there was much miscommunication once we were picked up. The movers called 2 days before the pick-up to set up a time they would arrive at our building and that time was Wednesday afternoon between 10am and 2pm and they were right on time at 12:45 and really did a great job of loading and wrapping all of our items but after that it literally took at least 3 calls to find out what our weight was and everytime I called Brian said "maam I apologize but you were just picked up an hour ago and the driver has not been to the weigh station yet" then it was 2 hours later and same response then 4 hours still no weights. Finally the driver Frank called us at around *pm and gave us our weight and to our surprise we were told we were 640 lbs. over the estimated weight and that it was supposed to be .65 per lb. for more weight but they were only charging us .40 for the extra weight and the office would call in the morning with a total. Next moring we did not recieve that call until almost noon with our new balance. I know this sounds like a whiny customer but they had told us we would know the weight right after pick-up. After all was said and done, Frank arrived at our new house the following Tuesday and again did a great job unloading. We are almost done unpacking and have not found any significant damages and hopefully we won't. Would we use this company again? Yes only because the drivers were excellent and the price wasn't much higher than the estimate but I would and have suggested better communication from the customer service department. Subsequently the owner Eric had called and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall a positive experience.
