we booked our moving reservation through michael martin with americas moving company based out of south carolina based on all the reviews we have read all over the internet and their bbb rating of an A. Their price while competitive with the larger van lines was more expensive than the small scam companies that we read about so we felt pretty comfortable with the way michael explained everything to us and how he asked questions that many of the other companies didn't ask about. We were guaranteed a one day pick up based on our needs and family flying in to help watch the children and pets during the move. Kevin showed up on the said date with mike his helper and did an outstanding job. Kevin did a complete inventory, stickered everything while mike and another helper hired from united van lines packed our boxes. After Kevin finished the inventory he also packed and then they began loading everything on a huge tractor trailer. We asked when to expect our delivery in Mass and were startled when they said within 7 days for delivery because most companies told me up to 21 days and americas moving services themselves told me 7-14 days so that was a very pleasant surprise. Also, the best part of the move was that my quoted price was 7,700 and it wound up costing 7,300 because our weight was less and kevin and the guys packed less then expected. Overall these guys get an A +++ for the service they provided and the communication throughout the moving process.
