When we moved 5 years ago from Virginia to Texas we used the Beltman Group for that move and it was a corporate paid relocation which costed the company $9,500.00 and we had many damages to our items which had been stored for 2 months in their warehouse. My husbands company relocated us again and again paid for the move and we were given the list of moving vendors and an allowance of $7,500.00 for the total move. We contacted a few of the companies and some of them came to our home and did estimates and most were very professional. We had narrowed our decision down to 2 of those companies that were in good standing with my husbands firm and the BBB. My husbands co-worker used americas moving services in November for his move from California to Texas and told him to give them a call. After speaking with Eric in the office we were very surprised that their price was almost $2,000 less than both of the companies that came to our home and also included packing services that were not included in our original estimate. We got approval from the company to use americas moving service and set up the relocation through Eric who was outstanding and obviously very passionate about his job. He worked off of the estimates that were done in our home weight wise. Ian and Tommy arrived early in the morning and were literally the 2 hardest working men we have ever seen in our lives. Despite our 3 kids running around they accomplished exactly what they were set out to. Packed and loaded us up in 9 hours, got on the road and had Josh in the office call us the next morning to let us know that our balance was about 200 less than the estimate and they would be delivering 3 days later! 4 days from Texas to Pennsylvania and it took our last movers 11 days to move us from Virgina to Texas. we could not have asked for 2 better men to move us, both Ian and Tommy were lighthearted and funny even in the heat while moving our items they were in good spirits. Our items came without a scratch anywhere. truly an incredible move.
