Budget Van Lines

We booked a move with Budget Van Lines. Biloxi, MS. to Destrehan, LA. about 100 miles. We were quoted 2641.00 for the move with a 839.00 deposit. After doing some checking, I found that they sub out the move to a third party company. So I started doing some other checking and getting other quotes. I found Budget to be 3 times higher than everyone else. So today 7/27/2015, I called to cancel the move, the pick up dates were 8/3-8/5. They said that because I was within 7 days of the FIRST DAY of possible pickup, that they would NOT refund me my deposit.
Don't USE THIS COMPANY. You get crappy service, way way overpriced. They DON'T move you, they sub out to a third party. And if you read the contract, they are NOT responsible for lost items.
