Misleading bid

I have no real complaint with the actual movers...I'm quite upset with the salesman, Greg. After he sent me the contract, I reviewed it, and called to tell him I felt he under bid...that his bid wasn't accurate. One simple example is that he had "supplies" at $9, using 3 rolls of tape! Sheez, the moves used 1/2 a roll for each piece of furniture! Greg insisted he padded his bid and if he were wrong, it would only be an extra $30 or $40. I wonder if this was his first bid??? Well, when it was all said and done, I paid an extra $750*...of course, after everything was loaded on the truck. (Hmmmm, I wonder if I should have just made them unload my things??) * How far off was he? Over 40% difference. Has he called since this fiasco? Yea, right.....
