I recently used Compass Van Lines to move our family. My oldest son has graduated and gone off to college so we were downsizing from a 4 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom duplex. Because the new place was quite smaller than the old one I had a nice sized pile of boxes that I needed to get rid of. Compass was nice enough to take these items for me, no questions asked, and take them to goodwill to donate them. I offered to take care of this myself but they insisted the would handle it for me! They even asked me if I had any extra canned food to donate to the Austin Food Bank. I had some useable cans we might have eaten but I decided to just donate them anyway. They had offered me full service packing but I decided to save time and money by having my items boxed and ready to move when they got there. They did thoroughly wrap all of my furniture with moving blankets before loading it on the truck. Once everything was loaded I followed them to the new place. They unloaded everything quickly and offered to help unpack and arrange everything but I opted to save some money and handle all that myself. Overall the movers were very nice and professional, they were experienced and handled everything smoothly and with care. They didn't slack at all during the whole thing and once everything was unpacked I insisted they share a cold beer with me before going on their way. Great job guys and thanks for the good work, I will call you again next time I need movers!
