The movers were extremely unprofessional taking their time and listening to eminem on full blast while smoking 12 cigarettes each while at out storage unit.
I was quoted $1,100 and told based on the information that I provided that this quote would be accurate.
AFTER LOADING the truck one of the movers approached me with paperwork and told me that the price had increased to $2,200! I had spent 4 hours helping these guys load the truck and it was 11PM so I had no other option than to sign on the dotted line and hope to take action afterward.
My stuff was shipped on July 15th and they told me that it would arrive at my destination on August 1st. It is now August 24th and it has still NOT arrived!
For the past 3 weeks they have told me that, "it will be there in a week". They told me that "the truck broke down". And every time I call to talk to Gail and Eve they are in a meeting or unavailable. They never know where the driver is either.
They also told me that I would be contacted 24 hours before delivery and I just received a phone call at 7PM for a delivery tomorrow at 12PM.
The contract clearly states that if there is an increase in the non-binding estimate that I only owe 10% upon delivery and the remaining balance will be deferred for 30 days. I just talked to the manager of the company, or someone who claimed to be the manager, Tony Ouzanian, who told me that "his company sucked" and that they would not release my goods if I did not give them $1,000 dollars cash upon delivery. He also claimed that the G&G Best Moving & Storage contract did NOT state that 10% was due upon delivery and the remainder was differed for 30 days.
This company is a nightmare! I will be taking them to court and wanted to warn whoever is thinking about using this company to go elsewhere. They are scammers, never at work, never available, never knowing where your things are, unprofessional, only accepts CASH OR MONEY ORDER upon delivery because they are professional at ripping people off and being scam artists.
