Do not hire Graebel Movers

Hello All,
I would like to share my pathetic moving experience with Graebel Movers.
I recently moved from Virginia to Dallas and paid almost $4400 with such a bad experience.
I have moved in the past couple of time but this was my worst experience of all. I hired Graebel Movers
bcoz I read some reviews about them and the guy who gave us the quote told us that we have a branch in
Dallas so you guys won't have any issues..
The pickup was fine with no issues. The delivery sucked.
The delivery was due on 13th May Friday. Driver called on the way saying that he will be there by 11am.
Since I moved to Dallas and had a closing of my house on 13th afternoon, I requested the driver to wait
untill afternoon so that I can complete the closing and take the delivery.
The Driver was rude and said he cannot wait untill 4pm. I was ready to pay for his wait time but he simple refused.
Then I called the agent in Virginia whom I did all the paperwork and explained her the whole scenario.
After making couple of call she told me that Driver can only wait untill 2pm..After that they will have to
unload ur stuff in a storage and that I will have to pay for unloading to storage, storage charges and then
delivering and unloading to house again on the next available date..
These guys were just not ready to listed. Finally I rented a 26 feel UHAUL truck, asked them to unload the
stuff in UHAUL in front of my new house.Nor only they charged me to unload to UHAUL, they also unwrapped
all the padded furniture since it belongs to the driver. They removed all the blankets from the furniture that
they wrapped in Virginia, broke few items that I noticed later on..
Insurance is not ready to cover those charges since they unload to the UHAUL..
I would suggest to everybody that Graebel movers are the worst that I have worked with. They were not
friendly, not ready to understand the situation and created lot of mental tension for me since I did not
have a place to unload.
Pls do your due deligence before you hire Graeble movers.
