Who knew hiring movers could be enjoyable?

I had a fairly simple move--large 1 bedroom apartment with too much heavy furniture and not enough strong (and reliable) friends. I checked several moving review sites, Google, and Yelp and ultimately decided on moving after speaking with several companies. They were a bit more expensive than some of the other options in town but were well-spoken, polite, and seemed more together than the other locally-owned operations.
The movers called me about 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment to let me know they were available if I wanted to get started early. Took them almost 3 hours exactly to move everything from my apartment into a storage unit. Since I have quite a bit of old (read: very heavy) furniture that has been in my family for years, I watched the movers like a hawk. Zero bumps, dings, or damage. On top of that, they were polite and very personable, which is far more than I can say for the last moving company I hired. Will absolutely be hiring them again to move my stuff from storage to new apartment when I return from my sojourn abroad.
