This review applies to Moving Central, 6263 N. McCormick, Chicago. We experienced terrible customer service and claim processing. No return calls, wrong information, general lack of responsiveness to fixing our problems. When crew showed up to pack goods, only two people showed up instead of 3 so packing went most the day and into the night. While loading they put a hole in the kitchen ceiling wallboard and broke a piece of the laminate floor. (Because the way laminate floors are installed, you have to pull the floor from the nearest wall to replace the broken one.) Home was already sold, so we paid to fix it ($500) and notified Moving Central and started a claim. When furniture was delivered they arrived at 10 PM and worked till about midnight. They also delivered the wrong couch and that took about 2 weeks to rectify. Eventually they denied our claim because we had not signed the correct box on delivery form. We told Moving Central this form was signed at midnight and the damage had been 3 weeks earlier and we had already notified them of the problems. After telling them the situation, we never heard back again despite emails and voice messages.
