Used Oasis Moving out of Las Vegas to move from Redding, CA to Green Bay, WI. The original quote for 1500lbs of stuff was $1475. The evening of the move, I had a flight out of Redding and needed a gaurenteed pickup and offered to pay extra to ensure that time slot. Not only did they show up two days later, they hired an indepenedent firm to make the pickup and try and cover their mixup who then tacked on an extra $1500 dollars to the estimated final delivery cost. When repeated attempts to get an explanation were avoided on who had my things (18 phone calls) and why the costs were so high, Oasis claimed they were no longer handling my move and couldnt do anything for me. Talk about customer service. Well, this other company was supposed to hold my things for me until I got settled in GB. I called nearly a month ago now for my things to be delivered and was told I had to wait until a truck was available to head to Wisconsin. I'm am in the process of hiring a lawyer to sort this mess out. I don't have the time or the patience, but felt all should be warned.
