This review is for Professional Van Lines - 400 Parkside Center Blvd #409, Dallas, TX 214-842-6998. www.professionalvanlines.com. Do not use this service unless you have enough people available to watch every day laborer they bring (no they do not use professional packers or loaders - they are inexperienced day laborers that are hired on the way to your location). You have to watch all of them all the time to make sure they do what you hired them to do - and they won't speak English. You have to make sure you watch everything they pack - take lots of pictures. You will need to label every box not only for contents (they won't even put what room it came out of) and make sure their ID label is on the box and that the box gets on the truck. Complete the inventory sheet yourself as they won't know how and you'll be amazed at how things are listed. You will need to guess if anything is broken when it arrives as they will not allow claims if it's not marked on the inventory sheet. It took over 8 hours for them to pack a 1bdrm apt. I am missing many articles that I cannot get reimbursed for as I didn't mark on the inventory sheet that it was missing. They cannot tell me how I was supposed to know the items were missing until I unpacked everything. Their quote is a scam - first thing they will tell you when they arrive is the quote is wrong and that there are more items then what is on the list (even though there are less). They tried to charge me $300 to move a plastic shelving unit that could have been broken down and packed in a box. I left it behind as it only cost $15 at Home Depot. They did not pack everything - when they said they were done I had to go through apt and point out items they didn't pack. Very unprofessional, immigrant day workers. Claim process takes forever and is yet another joke. Save yourself a headache and spend extra money to hire a real professional moving service or save money and your belongings and use U-haul and their packing/loading services. You'll save money and have all your belongings in one piece and in one place at the end. Or use Atlas Van Lines, Graebel Van Lines or any of the major names - yes they are more expensive but in the end at least they know what they are doing.
