Everything about these guys is great. I moved from NJ to CT with the help of Rolando & Rigo. I called several moving companies to get quotes ahead of time, and most of them were just "eh." Steve at StarCity was only person I talked to who really seemed to care and wanted to know everything there was to know about my move before giving me a firm price.
Now there are some companies out there that will charge you a service fee just for showing up, or for travel time, and all kinds of other unexpected things. StarCity's pricing is simple: an all inclusive, not to exceed flat rate and there are no extra fees or hidden charges, no matter what.
On the day of my move, the guys called me when they were on their way so I knew when to expect them. They arrived on time and got straight to work. They had everything in the truck and ready to go less than a few hours later. I definitely underestimated them because I was impressed at how easily they handled the larger pieces that I had.
When we got to the new apartment, I had a bit of headache getting things sorted out in the office to get the key, but the guys patiently waited for me. As soon as we were in, they had the whole truck unloaded and everything in place within 2 hours! The best part about these guys is that even if it took 4 more hours, they would not have charged us a penny more.
Moving with StarCity was such a pleasant experience! Though I hope I don't have to move again too soon, I absolutely will never move again without them They are fantastic!
