I hired Father and Son moving company to move my 1400 square foot townhome stuff into storage for a week then into another townhome. Well they blew me off for 3 days.. I couldn't ever get a hold of any of the contacts that they gave me. The numbers always went to voice mail and they never call back. Then the truck that showed up was outsourced thru a different company and driver, King moving company. Which is apparently how they always do this. Well my original estimate with detailed information of all of my stuff, was $528.00 and once they had all my stuff on the truck and locked up, they made me sign a bill for $1200.00 if I ever wanted to get my stuff or move done. I had to get my move done so I figured I would just deal with the company on a discount since they screwed me on the time and date. Also now that they took my stuff, I can't find it, can't find the company main office, or site where they store stuff. I have since file a police report and a claim with my insurance. I'm living in a hotel because I can't move into a place with no towels, clothes or dishes or beds or anything... so this move is the move from hell. Please do no use any company affiliated with Father and Son Moving Company. You will be so miserable.
