STAY AWAY FROM WORLD WIDE VAN LINES LLC AND GOLDEN HAND /MOVERS USA. THERE ARE MILLION BETTER MOVING COMPANIES THAN THESE FRAUDS !!! I made a huge mistake falling for their scam in order to save some money. Please don't do that. You can pay the same amount to other guys and have your items delivered on time without any hassles and last minute scams. The moment they receive your money, they become rude, mean and act as if you owe them money. I was moving from Denver CO to Charlotte, NC. Jake from world wide van lines gave me a quote which was pretty cheap for the whole move. He mentioned that I am allowed to carry a maximum of 1500 lbs for that quoted price. I was constantly in touch with him regarding the dates and the company that he would assign me to do the job. I checked with him constantly the price of the move and made sure that I don’t have to pay anything more than the remaining amount. He told me that I don’t have to pay anything more than what is agreed upon. The job was assigned to Golden hand moving The problem started from here on: The truck company [Golden Hand] told me that they have to charge me 67 cents per pound and minimum of 2500 lbs + 22% of it for the fuel charges. The total was coming around $2048 [Which is more than twice of what I have agreed with World Wide Van Lines]. I called Jake as well as the dispatcher in World Wide Van lines, stating regarding this issue but I didn’t get any response from them. The truck company manager ‘Roni’ was literally threatening to leave my place if I don’t agree and was challenging that I wouldn’t find anyone to do my move. Since I didn’t have an option I agreed with their price. I called up World Wide Van lines and explained them about this issue and all they said was “Since you have signed the deal with Golden Hand, the issue is between you and Golden Hand Moving”. I was told by Golden Hand Moving that my things will reach Charlotte from Denver in a span of 4 to 7 days time. But it was delayed more than anyone could imagine and I received the items 4 weeks. Me and my wife slept on the floor and ate off paper plates for the whole time. More over after doing some research, I have found that the company that was assigned for this pick up [Golden Hand Moving] is not even existing anymore. The company has lost its license long time ago and they changed their name to Movers USA.
