My job requires me to move all the time. Its stressful to move once but to move every six months or a year is very stressful. I don't want additional headaches from hiring the wrong company. From different locations I used different companies. When i move out from Dallas to San Jose, CA. i hired 24 hours moving inc.
SCOUTING PHASE
I searched internet for movers round Dallas and asked for quotes...four gave me the best price. They all called me to sell THEIR COMPANY and to be honest they have quite good salespeople. Well, to cut the story short 24 hours is the one i chose because of the price they gave, plus the agent is so polite and nice and asked me to read the contract first before signing, and if in any case i have questions I asked her. So i got a bunch of questions and she did answered it all.
MOVE PHASE
The team came in the house to pick up my items. They packed my stuffs, yes, and was eventually charged additional fee for extra steps of stairs. Well its fine, they were still cheaper than the others.
DELIVERY PHASE
The guys came in and unloaded my stuffs, I was so happy the items are all in one piece. No single scratch and were delivered on time. I usually don't give tip but for this guys job well done i gave some but not much just to compensate the hard work and protection they gave to my belongings.
In general I can say is I get the service I asked for and even exceed my expectations. If you ask me if I will recommend them, yes for sure.
