ABS Moving and Storage

I had a hectic move due to divorce that was put on hold because of legal reasons. ABS held my items and then delivered them into my storage unit and charged 2000 just to do that. Once the items were ready to be picked up again and shipped to washington they tried to charge me again for packing supplies to the tune of $800 even though everything was still packed in the boxes they originally used. After arguing with the manager they dropped that charge, however they still added a fuel surcharge because of high gas prices and charged for full labor even though they actually did no packing. Once everything was on the truck the forman tried to charge me 6800 and I refused, after another long call it got bumped down to 6000 and I just gave in because I had to leave the state that day.
Three weeks later my items were still sitting in VA, company said they could not find a driver. Finally on the fourth week my household goods arrived and the boxes were a mess, crushed ect...
Amazingly only a few glasses were broken, however items were missing. My 32 HDTV was stolen and a gateway LCD monitor along with a few garage items. What really irked me was that the monitor box had been opened and stuffed with packing paper and resealed. Like I wouldnt notice! After I got everything unpacked I contacted ABS to make a claim, and wouldnt you know the person I needed to talk to was always on another line, but they would call me back. Two weeks ago I sent a certified letter, it was returned today with the explanation that addressee had moved and left no forwarding address. I will be contacting the better business bureau today for the state of Maryland. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
