Having moved several times in my life this was the worst experience I ever had with a moving company. The original contact made them sound like a small local mover, I didn't know they were national. This was a local move about 20 min away from a first floor to a first floor. They showed up on time but during the move one of the movers injured his leg and I had to help bring out boxes to expedite the move while we waited for the company to send out another man. The local manager of All My Sons came himself but his attitude was terrible. Once he arrived there was no longer any care taken about moving my furniture and the time spent outside in the truck increased greatly. They charged for an hour travel time to drive the eighteen miles between houses. This added at least an extra hour to my bill. Boxes that were clearly marked were put in rooms haphazardly. Kitchen boxes were in the bedroom. Bedroom boxes with names labeled were put in the wrong bedrooms and bathroom boxes were left in the kitchen. No stairs, no appliances, two bedrooms and a living room for over $480 dollars cash only and when I had to give him an extra twenty because I didn't have the $6.36 he kept the overage saying he had no change and would have to go back to the office to get it. I never saw him again. With the way the move was going I expected this. My previous move with another company was three full bedrooms, living room, dining room, appliances, and a piano, and many steps. The cost was under $400 which was much less than All My Sons charged and everything was put exactly in place. Do yourself a favor look for a different moving company and NEVER, NEVER, use All My Sons moving.
