Moved from NW OKC to Edmond, OK - 15 minutes drive time (11 miles). I was quoted $650 (home was 1300 sq ft). When we arrived at my new home the bill was $1210.80. The movers loaded and unloaded the truck twice before we left original destination and took five hours to pack a small home. How can a "cash" only (or pre-approved credit card or certified funds) be anticipated when the move was double the quote? I was able to come up with $1,000 and beggd to write a check for the balance of 210.80 just to get my stuff, but they said no. They charged $150. per day (Sun and Mon) to "store" my belongings on the truck until the full $1210.08 + $300.00 = $1510.08 could be paid for my 11 mile move. This was a nightmare - please do not ever use them!
