We were impressed by the guys who drove and unloaded the truck. It seems they worked for several companies, All My Sons being one of them. All my sons sent out an agent who spread a whole lot of fancy certificates in front of us and quoted $750. At the end of the move the charge was $1,500. When we complained he stated there must have been accentuating circumstances like stairs. No, this was from a ground floor bungalow to a ground floor apartment. A three bedroom house to a three bedroom house, the furniture was the same as the estimator had looked at. The distance between the two houses was six miles. The traffic was light, the weather sunny.
Purely and simply they got the job because they quoted low and then ended up charging over 50% higher than the highest quote we received.
We called and complained twice, each time they promised to look into it, and each time there were no return phone calls, no apologies and no refund.
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!
