I went for the price that they initially offered me and like a fool did not see the reviews. I was also in crunch of time and had to move within one week. Pick up was supposed to be at 8:00AM and our flight was at 7:30PM the same day. They told us that for our house, it will take 3 hrs. No one turned up to pick our stuff till 4:00PM. We missed our flight. In addition, they also broke my stuff right in front of me and told me that it will not make it so we should exclude. I did not as they had already packed it in and was not my responsibility anymore. The deliver was to be from 01 Jul 2012 to 08 Jul 2012. They did not get my stuff till 12 Jul 2012. On the day of delivery, they tell me that the truck cannot come to my locality so i have to pay 350 extra for delivery charges. At one point i got so fumed that i told them to keep my stuff and i will claim everything in insurance. I should have done that. They broke my book case and missed two boxes on delivery as well. On the claims receipt, they were reluctant to write that anything was broken or missing and the delivery guy said that he know that and will tell the office. Another red flag there. Plus, I had made a separate list from them with all the contents in every box and loose furniture in excel sheet. This was the only way i could keep a track of my consignment. On the signed receipt, the delivery guys gave me the incorrect claims number (is this their habit to cheat people?). I have been calling that number for 1 week. When i called up the office to check if the number was right, they simply said yes it is right and they cannot help me. After two weeks, i asked for the claims department number and did not tell them what number i have. They gave me a different number this time. Also, did I say that the earlier number that they gave me went straight to voice,mail? Finally after a month i got someone at the claims department to talk to me and they said they will send me a form for claims. I have to send the pictures and the list that is missing and broken items with pictures. The catch here was that the items that broke during the pick-up, the delivery guy did not get it. I am royally screwed. This move costed me at least 1300.00 extra than what it was quoted to me. Please stay away!!!
