Lousy Customer Service

Submitted this review about All Services Movers

I am so glad that my move is over with because it was nerve-wracking. All Services could have done a much better job with customer service and to put my mind at ease with simply responding to at least some of my messages. I had a partial move from CO to GA and began my journey with waiting for All Services to show up between 3-5 pm. Since I was waiting at a storage unit and there was no air conditioning, I called to find out if I could wait at home and have the driver call me within 15 mins of arriving. The unprofessional person I called on the 800 # put me on hold several times and then told me she would have the driver call me. No call was returned. 5:00 pm came around, and no one showed up. I called the 800 # again and the unprofessional person said she would contact the driver to find out what was going on. Finally, at 5:30 I received a call from the driver and he explained that they were delayed with another move, but thought they would be there around 7:00. At 8:30 pm they arrived in a rented truck. By this time, it was getting dark and there were no lights at the storage unit. We had to run our car the whole entire time to shine headlights on the storage unit so the packers could see. Packers did a good job and they were tipped nicely. There was a $50 charge added for “Origin/Dest” that I asked about. Foreman didn’t know what it was for and said to ask “Anthony”. I left a message for Anthony the following week to have the charge explained. No answer. Left message again. No answer. My shipment was due to arrive anytime between Jun 25 and July 7. Again, I left a message for Anthony to see if he could narrow down the arrival time. No answer. Called the 800 # to see if they could narrow down within a week, when they thought they would be coming (I wanted to leave for a short vacation during July 4th), but was told by the 800# person that she only got info from the dispatcher the day before they arrived. I was told there was no other way they could forecast when the driver would be arriving so……………. I didn’t go on my vacation! And, of course, no one showed up. They didn’t arrive until July 9th!!! I will say that the driver did contact me right before the July 4th holiday and informed me that they would be arriving approx. July 6th. He contacted me again to say that the truck broke down in FL and he would be delayed until approx. July 9th. At least he let me know what was going on. All in all, the problem with All Services is customer service. It seemed to me that once Anthony sold me the contract, he was done with me. Couldn’t he have at least returned one of my phone calls to let me know the proper person to talk to? Isn’t there someone that a customer could call that knows SOMETHING about the whereabouts of my belongings? Who was my primary contact supposed to be? Was it supposed to be the agent listed on my paperwork? My agent was Daniel and he gave me his phone number. However, I was unable to get through because his voice mail was full. I literally felt like I was stranded out on a raft in the middle of an ocean.
