Absolute Nightmare - took 2 months!

Please, for your sanity, DO NOT use this company. After being lied to, neglected, and ignored, my stuff took over 2 months for delivery, over which time I was forced to sleep on the floor of my empty new apartment and live out of suitcases. During this hellish 2 months I dealt with the worst customer service in my 29 years of life. "Bobby K", the salesman in WA absolutely lied to me. His intial pitch was that the moving company was a local, family-owned business with a great track record. In reality, he is actually a salesman/broker for a national company based out of Texas, that contracts movements throughout the country. Also, during pickup the price was hiked up beacuse of "additional space needed". I had no recourse because I had to move fast across the company to start graduate school. After making the sale and the items were picked up, Bobby wiped his hands clean of any involvement with my delivery, at which time I had to start dealing with the most incompetent and rude operators and "supervisors" based in Texas. After waiting for a few weeks (the initial estimate was 1-2 weeks for delivery) I contacted the only number given for information. For the next month, in which I would call at least once a week, I was lied to and ignored. I soon found out that the information they were giving me (that my stuff had actually reached the destination state) was false and it hadn't even left the state it was picked up in (the other coast). After finally receiving an email from a "moving manager", the very unhelpful "Kevin D", I thought that there would soon be closure. He emailed me that he would contact me in a few days when he had complete information about my shipment and the refund I should expect to receive. My relief soon vanished as he never contacted me again, ignoring my multiple calls and emails. Finally, after no resolution or contact from the company, my father received a call saying that my stuff would be dropped off the next day (2 months and 3 days after initial pick up). The information they had was from the pickup location. Finally, I was able to contact the driver (who could barely speak english) and he said that my stuff would be delivered between noon and 4pm. I told him I had to leave by 4:30 and he guaranteed me that everything would be completed by that time. The next day, somebody else called me telling me that he would arrive at my apartment somewhere around 3 or 4. After asking him why they were not following through on their promise to be done by a certain time he just told me that I had to deal with it or else pay him $600 dollars for him to stay overnight in NC. He told me he just had to notify me within 24 hours of drop off, which clearly did not happen (the change of time was 3 hours before...and the company have me no notice of when to expect the stuff). It is clear that there is a completely negligent or nonexistent tracking system for this company, they feel no remorse by screwing people over, and have no desire to maintain any reasonable level of customer service. Do not be fooled by the reasonable prices, because even that will go up. With something as important as a move, DO NOT take the easy way out. Do not believe their lies or stories. You will be at the mercy of this terrible company. They will essentially kidnap your belongings and make you deal with their timeline...all the while never keeping you updated on the timeline and not holding themselves to any sort of reasonable customer service.
