I wrote this response to Living Social because I was researching a moving company they had listed for a deal. Dear Living Social Team Member, Please read from the bottom of this email thread up. I called the number on the living social deal to ask a few questions about the price, and I was told not to bother to buy the deal because it didnt include additional charges (travel time, fuel, etc), but instead to contact a GINA at 716-392-8498 for a full quote. When I provided her with the information she required...she responded by calling me honey, and using the word okie dokie in a professional email quote which I did not appreciate. I also questioned the fact that the name of the company on the living social deal was not the name of the company that she provided to me. I also asked her that since the living social deal was $200 for $400 worth of services, and her comprehensive quote was for $400, wouldn't it make sense for me to buy the deal? She totally went haywire on me and wrote some very rude and derogative remarks. Please see below (her responses to me are in ALL CAPS). I have removed my name for privacy. The email thread starts from the bottom of the review to the top. Is this the type of company/customer service you would like your customers to have to deal with? When I tried to forward her email to someone higher...their only response was...you cannot beat our price anywhere. Instead of apologizing for Gina's disgusting behavior, they condoned it. Never before have I seen, or been spoken to this way by a representative of a company, all for merely trying to clarify what the deal entailed. And if me stating that I didnt appreciate being called honey could lead to this...what does it say about their level of service otherwise? Horrible, horrible experience. Sincerely, MM GOOD M.
