I had originally went with a mover which had quoted me half of what everyone else quoted me. I was suspicious but still put down my deposit. I had already flight arrangements the day after the move. The day before the move NW Relocation called me and told me they were NOT going to be able to be there on the contracted dates. I was outraged! I demanded my deposit back and contacted Allegiant there price was higher but at this point I needed a reliable moving company. I needed them to be there the VERY next day. Fortunately they are local and I spoke to their manager Julian. He was very eager to help me and was the same person that quoted me before. This gentleman not only kept the price the same as before knowing that I needed to be picked up the next day, HE 3 wayed his carrier with me on the line and made sure the carrier understood the importance of my move and to put me on the docket.
After hearing this I thought, I should have went with this company from the beginning. Sure, there price was a bit higher but the service was impeccable. Guess what? The next day the driver Nick was there at 8am parked outside my home having some coffee with 3 other uniformed workers.
They did an outstanding job. Protected all my furniture. Disassembled everything, loaded the truck, it was just a good move. My wife even made the guys sandwhiches, it was just a pleasent experience.
I made my flight and got to Florida. I have not received my items just yet but I am sure and quite positive that I will be just as happy. This experience stuck out in my mind and I wanted to share it with everyone looking to hire a mover. Dont focus so much on price focus on quality. Allegiant is an excellent moving company.
