Worst Move Ever Experienced

The first issue is that nobody calls to follow-up or update the customers in a timely manner. Phone calls and messages go unanswered until they feel like returning your calls. The consumer move coordinator and agent were very unprofessional and rude. Their only concern was money and not customer satisfaction. On the day of pickup the semi broke down and they had to use a straight truck. Allied still tried to charge us over $400 for a shuttle service that we never received. When the driver arrived in Texas he smelled like alcohol and got out the truck and said he wants his money before he opens up the truck. I was shocked at his attitude and rudeness and had to refrain myself from knocking the hell out of him. The driver showed up with 1 male helper and a older woman who weighed about 90 lbs. The driver and woman took a break the whole time while this 1 man started unloading the truck. It was taking so long that I had to call corporate to get more help involved. After unloading at my apartment we proceeded to the storage facility to unload the remaining items off the truck. The driver made racial slurs to his helpers and disrespected my wife. The driver unloaded the items on the ground and pulled off while I was trying to inspect the truck to make sure all the items were taken off. He did not do any paperwork and pulled off without letting the helpers know that he was leaving. The helpers remained to load the items into storage without any dollies or equipment. Many items were damaged and missing during this nightmare. Please do not use this company if you want a smooth move. The drivers name is Mark White.
