I have an overall disappointing experience.
The movers were friendly & did the job well. The downside was that I was their first job of the day and they didn't show up until almost 11am and they had a very slow loading speed. I live in a one bedroom with only my bed and couch as big items. Everything was packed entirely and it took them an hour and a half to load up the truck. It was unreasonable for the amount of stuff I had, my friend and I began to help them out because they were taking so long.
They then asked to stop by a gas station to get drinks, and it took them 25 minutes. It was frustrating to say the least. I am not sure what the safety guidelines are for moving trucks on the highways, but they drove so slowly. I began to doubt if they were doing this on purpose to keep the clock ticking. The unloading to my new place took just as long, so the move that I had anticipated to take 2 hours, took 4 and a half. They mentioned how late they were for their next job, so I feel sorry for the next costumers.
They only had one small dolly and used it for only one trip. I think it would have been much more efficient if they used a big one for all boxes. A lamp of mine also got broken on the drive. I'm supposed to get a call about its insurance.
In the end, I got my stuff where I wanted it to go and I had a Groupon to knock off some of the price. However, even with a discount, I will not be hiring this company again.
