n November I chose this company to move y things from San Jose, CA to South Carolina, the people that came to pick up my stuff in San Jose were professional so I was confident everything was going to be OK.Boy was I wrong, the people that showed up to deliver my things were super unprofessional & EVERY box came in damaged. They made me signed for it before they got things of the truck, so when it came time to make a claim they used that against me saying that I had accepted the items as complete, but they would not unload unless I signed so I had no choice. This was not my first move, so I made sure to wrap every breakable item in bubble wrap, & even lined the boxes with bubble wrap, and things still broke. I even had plastic bins, and they arrived cracked in all four corners, and things inside broken. One box, everything inside broke. To add insult to injury two boxes did not arrived, one containing my blue ray DVD player and another containing my dress shoes. Since I had to signed before unload, I could not fight the missing boxes. When I called the company they said to make a detailed claim and they will pay me for my loses beyond the .60 per pound standard claim, because I had such a big loss. Well, I just received their response, and they are using the .60 per pound so they are offering me a $33.00 payout and I have to have the result notarized before they will pay. From all the times I have move and all the moving companies I have used, I have never seen such incompetence and lack of regard for their customers. I can not even imagined how my things were thrown around to sustain that kind of damage. My daugther had also just moved using another company and not one single item broke, so they can not claim that hings shift in transit, etc, because shifting does not break plastic bins. I strongly suggest that you never, ever use this company.
