I chose this company because of the reviews on this website, because most of them were good. But in my case the overall experience with this company was not good. This was an out of state move with time restrictions on my end. The driver was late picking up and did not did not explain or allow proper time to ensure all items are being tagged and loaded. There were too many people loading (3 adults, 1 child) therefore I could not verify that the items that were put on the inventory list were actually correct and loaded. Due to the driver being late, I had to leave before they were done loading. I was told this is common and not to worry they would lock up and do a final walkthrough of the house. The following day I received a call from the neighbor stating front door was left wide open. On the receiving end, it was similar. Too many people bringing items into different doors which did not allow me to do a full inventory. Not all items were tagged. Several things were damaged. During the claims process I again did not receive clear guidance on what is needed to get this claim done. I had to follow up constantly on the status of the claim. Once the claim was processed I was offered $350 for all items. Which I believe is less than 10% of the actual cost of repairs and the items that were left behind, that never made it onto the inventory list. They also tried to get me to sign an agreement that would have prohibited me from doing an online review of their company in order to receive reimbursement.
My advice to anyone that chooses this company anyways is 1. ensure the packers allow you the appropriate time to mark everything off the inventory list; 2. ensure all furniture items and appliances are wrapped safely in blankets (I have lots of scratches and dents); 3. ensure you have enough time on both ends of the move, so you dont have to leave the movers alone.
