The first thing that happened is that the wrong trailer was sent to my house. The 1st set of movers were not prepared to do the move in the promised time slot of 7AM-12PM. The correct movers didn't show up until 1:30 and didn't finish my move and my in-laws until 9PM. That is 7 and a half hours. I had scheduled my dish network guy to be at my new residence between 3PM-5PM. I got lucky because the dish network guy actually did stay for an extra hour out of his time to wait for the movers to do what they were supposed to have done between 7AM-12PM. I wasn't so lucky with the carpet cleaner I scheduled to be at my residence at 6:30PM which should have been more than enough time to have all mine and my in-laws stuff out of the residence. The movers sure made it seem like you guys didn't know what the corporate office was doing. This is understandable since the 2nd truck that was brought to my residence couldn't fit all my stuff and my-in laws stuff. It took 5 trips to move all the stuff that I listed for you to put on the PDF file. Lastly, your movers broke a plate that belong to mother-in-law. The plate that was broken was a plate that her dead mother used for Thanksgiving every since she was a girl. This is something that can't be replaced. The plate was tied to memories of her childhood that cannot be returned. I sent an email to the sales representative that made me all kinds of glorious promises and here is the response I received: Hi Gary, I am very sorry to hear about this. We have a Phoenix branch that is responsible for the dispatching efforts on a daily basis and determining vehicle size, etc. If there was a shortage of sufficient vehicles this could be an issue as well. The arrival windows are just that, unfortunately because it gets so busy it can be tough at times based on unforeseen circumstances. I am sorry things went array and please know we will forward your email to the appropiate departments. I didn't receive a call to make things better about my mother-in-law's plate. I just received justification on why things went wrong. If you can please if you see a truck that has an Apartment Movers Logo on it please kindly tell them that you don't need their services.
