Beware of this company, I would strongly discourage anyone from using their services. We had a scheduled pick-up date, they called us the morning of to tell us they had made a mistake and would not be able to pick up our items on the confirmed date. We had confirmed pick-up the previous night and they assured us they would be there. This caused major issues for us as we were set to give the new owner of our home keys that evening, we had to rent back the house from him for one more day. They arrived the next morning and sent 2 guys to load a 3500 square foot home, the arrangements previously made with Amanda were for more bodies to assist than that.
Our contract stated that our items would be stored in their warehouse in California until we called to have them shipped to Texas. When we called to have our items shipped they would not confirm a date for delivery or even an approximate date. It took 2 weeks for them to finally schedule a delivery date with us. We were told they would arrive early in the morning, they did not call to say they were running late, they arrived at 2:00 PM. Again they are unloading items for a 3500 square foot home, we had one man moving all of the boxes and furniture out of the truck. The other man went to sleep in the truck because he was "very tired from driving." As our items started coming out of the truck I immediately noticed damaged boxes, broken furniture, furniture and boxes with water damage, moldy mattresses. It was a complete nightmare!! Our wardrobe boxes were molded at the bottom and many of our clothes and shoes were ruined. Additionally, my husband had to help unload so that they could finish, without my husband's help the one mover would not have finished at 12:00 AM.
I don't usually write reviews but I felt I needed to based on our horrific experience. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and time find a reputable company, B52 should not be in business.
I had to add to this review after weeks of trying to work with B52 to cooperate with our insurance company based on the claim we filed for our damaged items. We have continuously tried to contact them and they will not answer their questions or our request. Again save yourself the trouble!
