Beacon Movers were very nice over the phone when I started looking for moving companies. I was overwhelmed with calls and emails which got really annoying after the first day of looking online for companies. I liked Joe the best since he didn't bug me every day with calls or emails he was prompt and efficient with his follow ups , called when he said he would never missed a beat. I really liked the conversations we had over the phone even though they weren't the cheapest company I spoke to nor were their reviews all polished diamonds but they seemed honest and direct with me from the starts. I felt comfortable and confident that I could trust Joe to give him my business. When they came to move my stuff a 3 man crew came to move my things out , the foreman Kevin was nice and explained some things to me about how they were going to load the truck and make sure the price was as cheap as it could possibly be. The final amount was $100 more than what Joe had quoted me which wasn't crazy since I was told that their final prices would be adjusted to the final inventory. I was a little worried about the delivery time to NY from NC they told me it could take 1 - 7 business days! that window was scaring me till Kevin assured me that he could have the items up in NY within 2 - 3 days depending traffic and other factors... I got delivery 4 days later which was better than the 7 days I was told originally but not the 2 - 3 days which I was still okay with... However the only thing I will say is that I had some damage to the legs of my table and a few scratches to the headboard of my bed. I was told to file a claim with their 3rd party claim center who would take care of it. Overall my experience with everyone from Beacon was pleasant and I was always talk to never passed around or ignored. I would use them again if I had to move and I would recommend them to my friends or family.
