After contacting Tony at Best Family Movers (advertised on Craigslist) he assured me the flat rate would be no more than $650 and that they would be reliable movers. Hah! Joke's on me! THEY NEVER SHOWED. After calling the office to schedule, I spoke to two more people before the move could be scheduled AND then the "quote" flat rate went up $100, sort of strange since Tony had the original information. Nothing changed. Jeff, the owner, has definite cognitive issues. Couldn't return my phone call and I was the one who had to call the day before to confirm! I did read all of the terrible reviews online but thought, maybe it would be different with me. It's an easy, small move. Movers were expected to arrive at 7am last Thursday. Jeff called and said 6 of his guys called in sick and two had pink eye. Which is hilarious, do you think anyone believes that. Everyone wants to know why you never called back to reschedule Jeff. He kept saying he'd have to check his schedule. So, instead of arranging to move the next day, this creep never calls back and of course, NEVER SAW THE MOVERS!! This guy needs to be taken out of "business" and investigated. A lawsuit for time lost and my money should be brought. He is the lowest weasel. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "COMPANY"....
